This resource is available in French and English that is a manual for establishing and operating a democratic high school student council in Canada. This project was initiated by the Department of Canadian Heritage and was test piloted in over 10 schools across Canada. Schools are encouraged to select areas of the handbook that are most useful to them. In the end, the proper use of power begins with learning how to use it judiciously—and in a way that reflects the community it serves.
